MINI-GRANT GUIDELINES
The Calallen Education Foundation (CEF) Mini-Grant Program is designed to encourage and facilitate innovative and creative educational approaches to student learning throughout the school year with quick access to funding. Mini-grants must enhance student academic performance and support the objectives, and initiatives of both the campus and the district.
Application Process:
The application consists of a 5-7 minute, informal presentation to the CEF Mini-Grant Judges. Applicants will submit a typed request form one week before the presentation via email so the education foundation is prepared and aware of how many applicants will be presenting for the month. Presentations will be held starting at 5:30 pm on the following Tuesday dates:
September 3, October 1, November 5, December 3, February 4, March 4, April 1, May 6 at 5:30 on Microsoft Teams.
Mini-Grant Request Forms must be submitted one week prior to the presentation date.
Only one Mini-Grant per Educator per semester will be awarded.
A decision will be provided within a week of the presentation via email. Successful applicants are prepared, creative and clearly explain the need, intent, impact, educational value and budget for their request.
